Personally, once the bugs get sorted out (probably a few weeks), I'm really, really excited to use this for prototyping or in simple mobile games. I also tried the 3D functionalities and was able to add a 3D rotation to the logos:įinally, I tried downloading a 3D object from Remix3D, slapping on a logo (called a sticker) and importing to Unity.
I simply don't have the time to learn Gimp or Photoshop, but I think Paint3D could work for some basic sprite and 3D drawing for non-artists (in a few weeks when Microsoft will fix most of the bugs). I've got to note that I am a terrible, terrible artist, but such a simplistic program that can yield good results is quite interesting to me. Also its selection tools can bug out as well. Obviously it's buggy as the whiskers I drew aren't supposed to have that strange offset gap.
